Happy Valentine's Day!

We had quite a winter storm yesterday, so I'm in for the day! DH had an encounter with some black ice on his way home from work last night, and his truck is WAY out of commission, so he has my car. He's just fine - no injuries to him, just to the truck... can I just say how much I dislike those steel posts and cables in the highway medians? lol...

The Valentine's card I began yesterday about 4 p.m. was put on hold - well, actually on 'stop'! until this morning. I have a cute C.C. Designs Trevor (from All That Scraps) to share with you today. Trevor apparently lives in Florida, or Hawaii, as he's not a bit chilly in his shirt sleeves. He's on his way to surprise his sweetie with a bouquet of fresh tulips, and he's a bit nervous! I'm sure his sweetie will love them!

ReplyDeleteok - so yes, disliking those cables too but..the alternative is running into semis and the like head on...not good either! oh yikes! I hate Winter driving! My DH is out in it all the time! It's beautiful today though...fresh snow so white and bright! Sunshine after snow is always so fortifying! hehe

ReplyDeleteOh Patti, how scary about your hubby's accident -- so very thankful to hear that he is alright! We had a black ice incident like this early in our marriage, and I'll tell you, I've never taken a day together for granted since. Your card is SO adorably sweet. Trevor is a little doll, I'm sure that he has nothing to worry about -- his sweetheart will welcome him with open arms! :-)
