I hope that you all enjoyed a safe and relaxing New Year's Eve. We went to dinner with some friends, then returned to their home for a guys vs. gals dominoes game. Needless to say, I'm MUCH better at crafting than at dominoes.
As today is the 1st of the month, it's New Release Day at Doodle Pantry! Laurie is ringing in 2012 with some wonderful new releases, and after a full month off, we are all refreshed, and ready to create again.
My card today features the new set "Love Birdies".
This is another one of Laurie's fabulous Pre-Colored images, so I literally printed, cut, and assembled this card. Clean and Simple, for sure!

I found the tutorial for this adorable 'Double Dutch Fold' card, by Patty Bombyk on the Splitcoast Stampers Weekly Inkling #292, and knew it would be perfect for this card. I hope you will give it a try!

OH Patti, how NEAT NEAT NEAT!! I saw this very briefly in my Weekly Inkling but didn't have time to click thru and forgot all about it. So cool seeing it up close--LOVE IT! We used the same colored birdies with the same DP, heehee. Super cool card Patti J.!! Happy New Year to you!!

ReplyDeletePatti - this is too funny - my family went up north to spend a few days with close friends for New Years and my girlfriend and I stamp (3 full days we stamped)- We also saw this dutch door tutorial and worked on it- although I must say that the inside of yours is fabulous.Happy New Years to you!
