Hello, and happy Friday!
I have a pretty short post for you today!
I made a quick Halloween gift for a friend, using candy corn, ribbon from my stash, a scrap of DP, and some stamps. I colored the candy corn pieces with Tombow Markers. Ta-da!
I'm going to enter this in the challenge at the I-O blog. The theme is "Is it fall yet"? lol...I only have one set of I-O fall stamps, so these folks are going to get real tired of seeing them!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a great day. My arm is being twisted to go shopping with a friend today. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it!!!
Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.
Food for thought:
The person with the smallest mind is usually the one who is most willing to give someone else a piece of it.

Cute cute cute - can you believe I just washed a Starbucks bottle yesterday to make a Halloweenie giftie - easy peasy. Have fun today.

ReplyDeleteHi, Patti! Just dropping by to say thank you for stopping over and commenting on my littel Ballet Shoe Treat boxes. You mentioned you didn't have a machine to cut out the file on and I'm going to draw a hand-cuttable pattern for another friend. So, if you like me to email you a copy of the hand drawn pattern so you can make the boxes also, please email me your email address to audreyfrel@sbcglobal.net!
ReplyDeleteI'd hate for you not to be able to make these little boxes if you like them just because you don't have a cricut!

It IS all about the candy corn...for me at least, as it's one of my most favorite candies, and one reason I look forward to the fall each year. What a great project you have created and a super way to recycle. =)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have Candy corn in the UK so its a real pleasure to see it here Patti, beautiful bottle. Oooh I do love your quote it made me laugh, brilliant, and so very true. Annette x
ReplyDeleteFabulous project Patti! I love that sentiment.
ReplyDeleteNow you're making me hungry!! LOLOL A really cute treat!
ReplyDeleteHey Blogging bud! This makes a cute gift. Have to tell you something that a lot of people don't know about me that your picture made me remember. When I was 8 years old, I got deathly sick from eating to much candy corn. To this day, every time I see candy corn (or God forbid smell it), my stomach actually churns and I feel like throwing up. LOL Hope you are well! Best, Curt
ReplyDeleteOh my word!! I love these little things!! Such a fun design for Halloween!! I need to get mine out and use them for something...anything! :) Thanks for the inspiration hun!!
ReplyDeleteYum! Candy corn! One of my seasonal favorites! :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for a Halloween treat...I'll have to case this, for sure!!!!
