Don't take my Kraft!!!

Hello out there! Short post today, as it's a 'travel to jobsite' day!

I'm always reading articles where a papercrafter is asked what supplies they could not do without. I would have to say Kraft CS. I've used Kraft for every theme imaginable. Today, I've used it for a sympathy card. We had a friend that was diagnosed with cancer, and passed away, all in two week's time. I thought that his son might like this card. I'm working on one today for his wife.
Sorry about the funny colors on the photo - the lighting kept shining off the card, and casting goofy shadows. It's really just one color of Kraft Cardstock!!!

Sentiment on inside...

A good blogging friend, Chelsea, used the versamark/clear embossing powder technique on a card for a technique swap with her friends from TAC. I needed a really quick card, so thought I'd CASE Chelsea! I don't have her card to show (I saw it at Shirley's house...) but you can check out her blog for some great stuff!!!

Shirley and I had a play day yesterday (gosh, did I need that!!!), so I used a sentiment that Shirley had, and neglected to look at the name on the stamp.
If you are interested, let me know, and I'll get that info for you.
The leaves are from a new TAC set called Happily Grateful.

Hope you are all doing well. I apologize for not getting to your blogs to stalk you more often, and promise to do a bit better as soon as we park the camper for the winter! Deer season begins on Nov. 13th, and I know we will bring it home by then!!!

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

Hugs,
Patti J.

  6. I just happened to pull out some kraft today! Yup, I need to replenish my stock! Sometimes I think it is just merciful when a person can go home quickly, especially with cancer. This is such a simple and elegant card.

  15. Such a pretty card. I love the monochromatic look. I've never worked with Kraft before, and hesitate too because I'm afraid I won't do it justice.

    Enjoy your camping trip.

  16. When crafters say Kraft, you think of one thing. When crafters' daughers hear Kraft, they think of another. I'm equally tied to my mac & cheese, so I second your opinion on not giving up Kraft. :-)
