First, dear friends and followers, I want to thank you so much for hanging with me the last month or so while I've been traveling with dear hubby, and not getting around to your blogs. Some of you have been so faithful, never missing a single post. I feel so special, having friends that visit me, when I've been unable to return the visit! I would imagine by the end of next month, the weather will change, and I'll be back to normal, but thank you very much for continuing to drop by.
I took a short walk a while ago, and peeps, this day is just delightful. It's 81 degrees, but there's a gorgeous breeze blowing, and right now, not a cloud in the sky. I hear that will change tonight!
It will be a busy weekend at our house! We'll get home tonight, probably mid-night-ish. Tomorrow will be a Homecoming Parade in our little town. The school is having a special celebration of 50 years of Homecoming Queens. DD was queen in 1999, so we'll get to watch her celebrate again! How much fun! We have a little convertible car, and her dad will shine it up tomorrow and drive her. There is also some sort of recognition at the evening football game. I'll be sure to get a couple of pics to post tomorrow night...
ON TO BLOG CANDY!!!
I think that since my blog will be two years old, that I should have 2 candies...what do you think? Maybe a big candy for followers, and a small candy for others? That way no one will feel obligated to become a follower???
Wow! I can't believe that my little old blog, that started out as a way for our kids to keep up with a bathroom remodel, has evolved into what it has, and that it will be two years old TOMORROW! Wowzers!

I'm right here with you! Welcome home and congrats to DD for getting to be a Home Coming Queen all over again. Something tells me that Dad is going to get a kick out of driving her in the parade! Can't wait to see the pic's. As to where I shop, anyplace that has what I want for a good price! In other words lots of places, LOL.

ReplyDeleteI pick All That Scraps for my favorite store! I use wordpress for my blog. When I decided to finally blog, my daughters said they would only help me if I used wordpress. They had all tried blogger and switched to WP. I've had to use blogger for one DT and it is bad... wordpress and typepad are much better...not sure why more gals don't use wordpress... oops... this got long! sorry! : )

Patti is it 2 years? I thought you must have been blogging long before me. I think I 'met' you on TMITA and STV or it could have been PCP......I know I always stopped to take in your beautiful creations.
OMG let's face it, there are so many places to buy stamps and paper crafting goodies. I'm enjoying Waltzingmouse at the moment Claire is lovely and treats everyone the same! Though I have just tried some LOTV stamps which are too cute for words. I started with Blogger and to tell the truth I couldn't face changing everything so for now I'm staying put!
Wow congrats on 2 years of blogging!!!! You know my favorite online store is GKD, but I have just discovered Krafin' Kimmie Stamps so I love them to.
