Snow Couple

Hi all!

Brrr.....Mother Nature has chilled us here in the midwest!

Thought I'd share a cute image that I colored last night, using Copic Markers. This is a Whimsy Stamps Digital Image, called Snow Couple. Isn't it adorable?  Of course, with Valentine's Day coming up, it had to have a few hearts added in!

Hope you are staying in, where it's warm!

I'm going to enter this in the challenge at Cute Card Thursday.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs and blessings,

Hey there!

Thought I'd share a few more sets of Valentine cards that I made this year.

Hope you enjoy!
Most of the ideas came from someplace on the web or Pinterest - can't take credit!

Have a wonderful weekend, dear friends!

I'll be back to blogging next Wednesday or so!!!

Forget Me Not

Do you ever want to make the world go away so you can just color and create?

I do!

It's nearly tax time for us, and that means weeks of work for me...bah! It will be a bit tough for a few weeks to eek out some creative time. Sigh....there are ups and downs of a hubby that owns his own business.

So, here is a fun card. This uses a digi image from Tiddly Inks, called Forget Me Not. I love flowers, and could color on them all day long. This sweet image made me think of a scene out a window, so I put the image behind an oval opening, sort of like a window. You'll just have to use your imagination!

Have a great evening!

I'll be taking a short blogging break to celebrate grandsons 3rd birthday!
Thanks for poppin' in today!

Blessings!
Patti J.

Fairy Fun Day

I'm back.....

Before I get called away from my girl cave, I thought I'd share one more delightful creation made with a digi image from Tiddly Inks.  This sweet image, Fairy Fun Day, is actually a coloring page that I made smaller for this card.  Again, the image was colored with Copic markers. I used a Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen on the wings and eyes. Goodness, she's so pretty!!!

If I have time, I'll post one more very quick card today, using another Tiddly Inks Digi.
Lots to do today! I'm running out of daylight :)

So happy you dropped in to visit today!

Hugs and smiles,
Patti J.

The Conductor

Hello friends!

Brrrr....only about 57 days until spring, and I am SO ready! Hope you are staying warm wherever you are today.

We needed a Birthday Card for a darling grandson that is turning 3 next Monday. I found the cutest digi image at Tiddly Inks, and decided that our little sweetie will have a train card this year. This image is called The Conductor.

Rylan loves to get 'grandma cards', so this one needed to be a bit interesting for him. I decided to do a fun Z-fold card.  While trying to plan a background, I found another digi image at Tiddly Inks, Happy Day Background...perfect!!!

I cuddled up under my blanket, took my images and Copic markers, and colored myself happy. After the images were colored, I created the card. Wish you could see the Glossy Accents on the train wheels and cars - makes the images come to life!

Here's my card:

I always go to Tiddly Inks when I need a sweet image, and again, they didn't disappoint!  They are having a DT Call through the end of January - if you are interested, check out the details HERE.

Measurements for card:
Base: 5" x 11", scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2".
Z Band: 1 1/2" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" and 8 1/4"

The mats are cut to these dimensions:
2 @ 2 1/2" x 4 3/4"
1 @ 5 1/4" x 4 3/4"
2 @ 2 1/2" x 1 1/4"
1 @ 5 1/4" x 1 1/4"

You will adhere your Z band to the panel, using adhesive on only the far left section and far right sections. If you have questions, give me a shout!

Thanks for stopping by today - happy creating!!!

Hugs and grins,

Loads of Love

Hi there!

I'm back today to share another fun Valentine stash that I've made since the snow fell.

My BFF, Shirley, gave me this adorable stamp and die set a year or so ago. I'd used the stamps a time or two, but this time I used the die, as well! I created a little scene with an embossed background, and a piece of black cardstock with a road drawn in white gel pen. Hope the recipients will like them!

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. More snow to come this weekend!

Happy creating,
Patti J.

Pizza Me...

Happy Monday, ya'll...

I've been working on a few fun Valentine's Day cards, and thought I'd share them with you, a few at a time. This first card was made using a delightful 'Favorite Puperoni' stamp set that Simon Says Stamps sent me free with an order last year. I used the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board to create the cute envelope.

I'm entering this in the Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp. Wish me luck!
I totally 'NEED' some new crafty supplies!

Thanks for stopping by today -

Hello

Hello!

We've had a snowy weekend here in Missouri. The upside is that I managed to get some coloring time in!

Here is the darling January Fairy Tot and a sweet penguin that I got for participating at 7 Kids College Fund this month. You know how much I love cute images and coloring time!!!

These were digital images, so I created a little 'scene' with the images. After it was colored with Copic markers, I drew in a few hills of snow, added some Nuvo Glitter Accents, a die cut from Poppy Stamps, and Ta-Da - a card was born!

How cute is this?

If you don't follow them already, be sure to do so! It's a fun group!
