Happy Birthday!!!

Howdy, peeps!

Sometimes, you just need a really quick birthday card, and you don't want it
to look 'really quick', right?  So, today, I'm sharing a fun card that I
designed for a workshop in January.  There's a lady in church celebrating
a 90th birthday soon, and I made this today for her, using a beautiful

Isn't this cute?  The cupcakes are simply a wide ribbon that I found locally.

Here are the supplies that I used:

The Ultimate Tool

Well, friends - thanks so much for dropping by to say hello!
I was gone for a week, and got loads of grandson hugs, but now, I
have loads of things to catch up on!  See you soon!

Speedy Recovery

Good morning!

I'm back today with a new  inspirational palette challenge for Repeat Impressions.
Create with the photo, colors, or the theme...look at this beautiful inspiration that Wendy gave us to work with - makes me long for warmer weather!

I created this card, using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

I send out a lot of cards to church friends and chemo angel buddies, so my favorite sentiments are things like the above message.  Hope you like this new inspirational palette challenge!

Now it’s your turn! Create a card using the inspiration above, and link it up at The House that Stamps Built. Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them! Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!

Check out my sidebar to see how you can save money on your RI orders!

Now, it's time to see what my fellow Rock Stars have created!
Please drop by and give our newest Rock Star, Donna, a warm welcome!!!

HSN Fun

Hey friends,

Just had a few minutes, and thought I'd pop in and share a couple of things that I created for the Crafter's Companion HSN show in January.

These items are not yet available on the Crafter's Companion website, but keep watching the Crafter's Companion Blog, for inspiration and new products!

These items were made using some of the beautiful Spectrum Noir Colorista coloring pads,

Thanks for dropping by today!

I'll be entering my tissue box in the 'More than one fold' February challenge at Scor-Pal.

Have a great week, dear friends!!!

We just got home late last night from a week in sunny Texas, where we
met our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. We spent a week together, and are
smiling from all of the baby cuddles!!!!!

Hugs and smiles,
Patti J.

Be You!

Hi there!

Happy Friday, everyone!

I'm here today to share something fun from Crafter's Companion.

Spectrum Noir has come out with so many fun coloring options. One of them
that was recently offered on a HSN special event, was a set of cards to color!  The set had six cards in a box, complete with envelopes and card inserts.  These are no longer available, but be sure
to check out the Colorista category at Crafter's Companion for other wonderful coloring options!

Be sure to check out the Crafter's Companion Blog each day for lots of inspiration!

Here's what I made:

Here are the supplies that I used:

That's it!  Easy as can be, and so bright and pretty!

Thanks for taking the time to drop by today,

No Matter What...

Good morning!

I'm back with a new Tic-Tac-Toe challenge for Repeat Impressions.
Just look at the fun inspiration that Wendy gave us to work with:

I used the three left items...Love, Dry Embossing, and Red.

And, here's what I made using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

I colored the image with markers, sponged in some clouds, added some glitter, and outlined the focal panel with black marker. The panel was adhered to the card front, and then run through my Big Shot in this fun embossing folder. Looks like fabric now, right?  Then, I just stamped and added the sentiment. Easy, peasy!!!

Now it’s your turn! Create a card using the Tic-Tac-Toe board above, and link it up at The House that Stamps Built.

We are so excited - we have added a new Rock Star to our family - please
drop by and give Shirley a warm welcome!!!

Loving Sympathy

Hello out there!

Sigh....I always dread making a sympathy card, but needed one last week
for a longtime friend and mentor of my husband, whose brother had passed
away.  I immediately went to my digi files, and pulled out some
beautiful items from MHK Designs.  If you haven't been there to shop,
you should go...Mynn has some very lovely images and sentiments!

Here's my card:

I'm going to enter this in the monthly challenge at MHK Designs.

Hope your week is off to a good start!

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.

Wedding Gift Bag

Hi Friends!

I'm here today to share a project with you that uses some beautiful dies
and card stock from Crafter's Companion.

Here is a gift bag that I created, using a Die'sire Edge'ables die. These Edge'ables Dies will be featured on HSN on February 6th.  If you watch close, you might even catch a glimpse
of my gift bag!!!

This Die'sire Edgeable die is so beautiful and intricate.  You can use
these on the edge of a fold, or on the edge of a focal panel for a pop-up type
effect.  If you like, you can even cut out the whole piece!  Check them
out at Crafter's Companion!

You Rock!

Hello!

I hope you are enjoying your week - Happy Wednesday!

It’s challenge day at The House that Stamps Built, and we have a new Designer’s Choice Challenge for you. I'm your hostess this week, and I'm challenging you to create 'Anything but a card'!  Let's see those tags, boxes, bags, etc!  I can't wait for you to check out what my fellow Rock Stars have created this week!

Here's what I made using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

I thought it would be fun to use a stamp that I designed - Patti's Flower, on this box lid.
All of the stamping was done with Versamark Ink, and embossed in white.
A bit of bling finished it off.

The box is such a fun size, and SO easy!

The base is 8" x 11", and is scored on all sides at 3".
The lid is 4" x 7" and is scored on all sides at 1".
(Experiment with your lid and a scrap. I found these numbers to be a bit 'short', and added a 'smidge' extra on the length).

That's it!!!  Just cut your tabs, adhere them to the inside of the box and lid, and voila!

The finished box dimensions are 5" x 3" x 2"!
What fun to have a nice deep box - this can hold SO much chocolate...lol,
or some nail polish, baths salts, home baked cookies, etc. Give it a try!

I'm entering this in the "More than one Score" challenge at Scor-Pal.

We hope you will create ANYTHING BUT A CARD and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built!  Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them!  Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!
One lucky person this month will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!

Check out my sidebar to see how you can save money on your RI orders!

Now, it's time to see what my DT friends have created!
