Sharing some special order cards...

Hi ya!

Recently, I had a request for some Anniversary cards.

Thought I'd share what I made.

I love doing orders like this, because I can use any products that I have on hand. I can mix and match, use retired or discontinued items, old papers, you get it, right?

Anyhow, here are six Anniversary cards I created in about two hours one evening.

This one uses the Beautiful Blooms Stampin'Up! image, and a
computer generated sentiment.

Memory Box heart die, Stampin'Up! embossing folder, and Michael's $1 sentiment stamp.

Memory Box Die, Our Daily Bread Designs Sentiment.

Memory Box die, Computer generated sentiment.

Crafter's Companion Stamps, Amuse sentiment.

Heartfelt Creations Papers, Michael's $1 sentiment stamp, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs and grins,
Patti J.

Project of the Week at The House that Stamps Built

Hello!

It's my turn to share the Project of the Week for Repeat Impressions and I have a
quick, easy card today. I call this a Peek-a-boo card. I'm sure there is a technical name for it,
but this is what I think of when I see it!

Today, I'll be using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

Let's get started!

Create your 4.25" x 11" card base. Score at 5.5".

Cut a piece of designer paper 5.25 x 4" and adhere to card front.

Cut a white panel 5.5" tall by about 3.5" wide

Stamp focal panel, and color as desired.

Cut a strip out of the center, going just to your focal image.

Use detail scissors or Xacto knife to trim top and bottom of image.

Adhere white focal panel to card front using dimensional foam.

Add sentiment (for my sentiment, I stamped and cut apart the words, and popped
them up with foam strips).

Give it a try!  If you do, stop by and let us know, so we can come see your beautiful creation!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs,
Patti J.

Itty Bitty Blog Candy Blogaverary Winner!

Hi everyone!

October 2nd was my 8th Blogaversary!

Today, I have a winner to announce, but first, I have some very pretty cards
to share.  Pam Sparks is one of the most creative folks I know. She lives
in Iowa, and does a lot of classes there for Memory Box.  Pam happened
to have a few kits left over and my friend Shirley and I each bought
a kit.  I was blessed twice!  Once with the three beautiful cards that we
made, and once with the creative day that Shirley and I had when we got
together to make these cards!

Here they are:

Are these not adorable?  I love every one of them!

Going to add a bit of glittery snow here and there before I mail them, but my, oh my,
I had such fun with these - thanks Pam!!!

Drum Roll Please.....

My 1st blog post was on the 2nd of the month, and I have been blogging for 8 years,
so...

8 of you will get to choose 2 stamps each from Repeat Impressions!

Congratulations to:

Ionabunny
Regina
Cheryl W.
Lori K.
Judy I.
Sherry
Sandy
Lisa 808

Thanks for reading my blog!

Would you ladies please email me with your two stamp choices, AND your
mailing address?  My email is: mamagilliam at gmail dot com

Have a great day!!!

Keep smiling :)

Color Challenge at The House that Stamps Built

Good morning!

I'm back with a new challenge for Repeat Impressions
Our challenge this week is a color challenge - look at the fun colors Wendy
gave us to work with:

And, here's what I made using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

I don't make many Halloween cards, but these colors just seemed to call for using
some fun Halloween stamps!  I created an easel card, with a focal panel of vellum.
A little LED candle was placed behind the image, and voila!

Here you can see the side of the easel a little bit...

And, here is a close up of the focal panel with the light behind it. I stamped on the
front of the panel, and colored on the back side.

Here is the card with lights out - what fun!!!

Here is a glimpse of what the card looks like on the underside.

The BOO is popped up, to hold the easel up on the card.

Hope you like it!

Now it’s your turn! Create a card using the colors above, and link it up at The House that Stamps Built. Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them! Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!

Check out my sidebar to see how you can save money on your RI orders!

Now, it's time to see what my fellow Rock Stars have created!
We are so excited - we have added a new Rock Star to our family - please
drop by and give Shirley a warm welcome!!!

Happy Blogaversary to me!!!

Wow!

Can you believe that my blog is 8 years old today?

This post is #1,445 - yikes!

* * * * *

Some of you have been with me from the get-go, offering encouragement when needed,
offering kind words about creations that were not deserving (hee hee),
but mostly, offering friendships.

I feel so blessed...

Paper Crafting and blogging have brought so many of you into my life that I'd never
have had a chance to know otherwise.

I have friends in nearly every country, and nearly every state in the US.

When we travel, my hubby tries very hard to be sure that I get to meet a fellow paper crafter.

My very dearest friend, Shirley, was my first paper crafting teacher.

I remember eight years ago, getting my very first blog follower. It is humbling
to know that there are so many of you that take time from your busy days
to drop by and see what I've been up to.

* * * * *

To say thank you, I'm going to be giving away some 'Itty Bitty' blog candy.

All you need to do, is leave me a comment (please include your email so I can find you)
on this blog post.

You do NOT have to be a follower of my blog to win.

If you ARE a follower, be sure to leave a second comment, telling me you're a follower.
You will have two chances to win!

When commenting with your email, type it in this fashion: mamagilliam at gmail dot com
This will help with spamming!

I'll keep this open all week, and will announce winner(s) next Monday!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
