Best Witches...

Happy Friday!

Forecast looks gloomy and wet again...sigh!

Here is another fun Halloween card that I created with products from Crafter's Companion.

Not sure who will receive this one, but hope they like it!

Click on the photo to get a bigger and better shot. The fence was colored and fussy cut,
then popped up with some foam dimensionals. Lots of sparkle too!

Birds and Branches

Hello, hello....

So, what's new with you?

Not much here.
We're trying to get over the 'Creeping Crud', avoid raindrops,
and stay ahead of the yard mowing.

Made a card yesterday for someone at church, and thought I'd share it.

The digital image is from a beautiful set by MHK Designs, called 'Birds and Branches'.
A wee bit of Copic coloring, a black mat, and a bit of bling finished off this
card quite nicely.  I think our friend will like it.

Hope that your week is going well.
Tomorrow is a business/pleasure day here. I have to go out of town
for the Mister on business, and I'm taking my bestie, Shirley, along. We will
definitely 'NEED' to do some shopping and lunch out after the hour long
car ride!

I'll be entering this card in the monthly challenge at MHK Designs.
Their challenge is always either to use their photo/color inspiration, or if you use MHK Designs images, it's anything goes!

You should totally check out Mynn's lovely digi images!

Hugs and grins,
Patti J.

Repeat Impressions Project of the Week - Treat Box

Hello everyone, and welcome to another Project of the Week

The holidays are quickly approaching, and I thought it would be fun to share a cute little gift box that is a favorite 'go to' for me.  When I need something in a hurry, I reach for this. I wish I knew where I'd first seen this - more than likely it was one of those uber-talented
Stampin'Up! gals, but I drew it in my little sketch book a few years back, and don't know
who gets the credit for it...sorry!!!

I used these Repeat Impression Stamps:

Let's get started!

Cut one piece of cardstock to 11" x 3.25"
On long side, score at 4.75" and 6.25"

Cut another piece of cardstock to 5" x 3 3/8".
Score 1" on all four sides.

Burnish all score lines.
On your 5" x 3 3/8" piece, snip in to the fold line, creating your box tabs.
(I always trim mine a bit on either side of the tab, as shown, to make a nice fit)

Add some good adhesive to your box flaps, and create your box.

Here is what it will look like.

Add some adhesive to your box bottom.

Remove strips and adhere box to bottom of outer cover, as shown below.

That's it!  You're done, except for decorating!  You can add designer paper, or just
stamp a cute little scene like I did here.

Here is this same box created for Christmas a year or two ago.

I used these Repeat Impressions Stamps for the Christmas box:

Thanks for stopping by today!  If you decide to give this box a try, come back
and let us know! We'd love to see what you create!

Hugs and smiles,

A Haunting Experience...

Happy Friday!

Rain, rain, go away...ugh!

Fall is nearly upon us, so I decided to create another Halloween card
using products from Crafter's Companion.

Wouldn't this be a fun invitation to a day of 'creepy creating' with friends,
or a night sharing some witches brew?

Have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by today!

Repeat Impressions August Photo Inspiration Challenge

Hello!
So glad you stopped by today!

It's time for a new Photo Inspiration challenge at The House that Stamps Built!

Here is the photo that we were given for inspiration:

Well, you know me...these scenic photos are the toughest.  The photos are so beautiful, but I have total brain freeze when working with one.

I guess it's why they call them challenges...

Here is what I made today, using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

The image was stamped first, with black ink, then colored with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers. Last, I masked the moon, and sponged an early evening sky. The sentiment was stamped with black ink, and
the panel was mounted onto a black card base. A few pretty 'blings' finished it off.

Now, it's your turn!
Come on over and join us in our Photo Inspiration Challenge!  If I
can do it, you can do it!!!

Remember, you don't HAVE to use Repeat Impressions Stamps
but if you do, you have double the chance of winning!
I can't wait to see your beautiful cards using this photo!!!

Check out my sidebar to see how you can save money on your RI orders!

Beachy Keen!

Hey ya'll...

Thanks for your patience with me the past couple of weeks.

DH and I took a road trip
to Virginia to be of some help to our daughter and her family, as they moved from
over 3 years in Germany, to the good old US!  An added bonus, was that our son
and his family had business in DC area, so we were able to see the whole family!
We even had a family photo session, which I hope to share with you later.

Last month, I was a big winner at MHK Designs. I won this awesome 'Beachy Keen' set,
and thought I'd dash in just under the wire with a card for the August challenge.

Here's what I created:

Supplies used:

White Cardstock

Hope you are all doing well, and that your weekend is much drier than ours is!

Hugs,

Patti J.

Happy Friday!

It's been another rainy week here - ugh!

I have a pretty Christmas card to share today, using products from Crafter's Companion.

This image just stands alone - no need for much of anything else!
And look at that beautiful corner!  You're going to be seeing these corners in future posts!
There are four different and gorgeous corners in this set!

Feel free to click on the photo to get a better idea of the detail in this corner die!

The House That Stamps Built - DCC Challenge

Hello!

I hope you are enjoying your week - Happy Wednesday!

It’s challenge day at The House that Stamps Built, and we have a great Designer’s Choice Challenge for you. RI Rock StarKathy, is hosting and has a shaped challenge for us. Please join in our challenge, and create something using the theme:
"Create a Circular Card".

Here's what I made using this Repeat Impressions Stamp:

I'm not sure who will get this sweet card, so for now, I haven't added a sentiment.
However, there IS a darling sentiment that you can find HERE at Repeat Impressions.
It says 'Thank You... You're an angel'.

Now it’s your turn!
We hope you will create a card that has a focus on the DCC theme, ‘Create a Circular Card', and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built!  Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them!  Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!

Check out my sidebar to see how you can save money on your RI orders!

Now, it's time to see what my DT friends have created!

Crafter's Companion Halloween Card

It's Friday, and another weekend is right around the corner!

Here's a fun Halloween card, using products from Crafter's Companion.

Aren't these images fun?

I'm almost out of my fringy edging - time to buy some more Baby Bell cheese!!!
This edging is actually the bag that the cheese comes in - yes, I do hoard things!

Here are the products that I used:
