Happy Saturday!
You know....'that moment' when you finish a card, and you're really REALLY loving it?
And then, you try for 30 minutes to take a photo, and just can't get one that you like? Yep,
it was one of those days. I love working with metallic card stock, but it's nearly impossible to
get a good photo. Here's what I made using these Great Impressions stamps:
I should add that the sentiment is really very pretty in real life.
I used an embossing powder that is a 'snowy, glittery' white, and again,
the photo just doesn't do it justice.
See you next Saturday with another project featuring some fun stamps
I hope you will check out our current Great Impressions Challenge, and if you use Great Impressions stamps be sure to link them up in our Customer Gallery!
The challenge just started this week, so you have lots of time to enter!
You could be the lucky winner!
Thanks for stopping by,
Patti J.
Very pretty card, your photo is amazing, I've been trying to get good photos but its just so dark in NY and dreary even with the flash and background lights my photos aren't clear.

ReplyDeleteWell I don't know if it's the photo, but I think this card is just stunning Patti!! Love the shinny gold frame and such a beautiful image with so many lovely details!! I do feel your pain with the photos...it can be so hard to show what's REALLY going on with it! :) HUGS
ReplyDeleteI really love this card. Your photo has done it justice.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Christmas card Patti! I think you photographed it great, but I know what you mean about some cards just not photographing well!!

ReplyDeleteThat is just so beautiful Patti!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Patti! Think we need Harry Potter style photos that move so we can see the sparkle and shine!
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful, Patti! I love the pine branches on top of the ornament - so festive!
ReplyDeletePatti, this is just SO pretty! I LOVE the touch of glittery gold in the "string" for your ornament--and then the shiny gold for your matting! Fabulous! Sending HUGS! :) Mynn xx
ReplyDeleteSo, so pretty, Patti! Love it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card and photography!
ReplyDeleteOH, how beautiful! Picture looks good even tho you struggled. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteoh boy, yes I know what you mean about photos! I have a terrible time giving up though and keep trying for hours! So annoying. You can turn your card just a tad bit away from the light and that usually helps, I've learned! ugh. lol Gorgeous card Patti! All cards are so much better held in the hand. I get so discouraged about photos...glad it's not just me! :D
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card Patti. Love the elegant ornament with the pine branch... the traditional colors look perfect.
