Hello! Well, I've survived a Monday morning. How funny, even as a retiree, I still look forward to the weekends, and dread Monday's. I wonder about me sometimes :)
Just had a fun card to share today. I needed something spur of the moment. This image was laying on my worktable, and was going to be a focal panel on a Happy Retirement card. Well, when I dropped the stamp right onto the image, it left a nasty smear on the right side. What to do, what to do? Well, the paper cutter chopped off the bad side, and some of the bottom, and I found that it fit perfectly into the window of some ready made cards I purchased from the Paper Cut at the Collinsville show.
Added a fun Stamps by Judith sentiment, and voila!
FIVE minute card! Yeah, made me happy!!! Just put the image in the window, covered it with a scrap of cardstock, and stamped the sentiment. Voila...
Hope your week's off to a good start.
Thanks for stoppig by today :)
Happy Monday!
Patti J.

Okay...so now you're scaring me!!! I didn't retire this year (I thought I would)...but plan to next year and losing those Monday Blues had me looking forward to it...now, I'm not so sure! What?
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous! Even for Monday!!! Hugs, MF.
Beautiful card - I sooooo don't like Mondays!!!! Thanks for putting a smile on my face.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy your sponged background cards. This is lovely, and you did a super save on it too! Had to chuckle at your retiree & Monday comment. I'm the same way when Friday comes. Doesn't really make much difference in our day-to-day routine when the wkend comes, but guess that Friday mentality is ingrained. I'm always thankful on Sunday nite that I don't face office politics the next morning. Loved your card, and aren't Paper Cuts wonderful to have on hand (If I remember I have them and _where_ they might be hiding!). TFS the pretty card and the good giggle.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful CAS card Patti, that little spalsh of yellow is just the perfect amount of colour.
ReplyDeleteI don't really mind Mondays, now Tuesdays, that's a different story! Hate them!
Love your 5-minute card, Patti! Maybe I should try dropping my stamp onto my image. LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and quick, what more can one ask for! Your mistake made for one lovely card!
