Hooray!

Wow, cannot believe there's a break in the weather
(still raining hard, but no lightning at this time)!
Thought I'd take advantage of the lack of lightning, and post a couple of cards!
It will be a short post, but woweee....it's a post!

This first card is one that I made using a Doodle Pantry set, Turtle Trio. It's another one of Laurie's absolutely darling, pre-colored images. The DP's are also from the set. I created the sunshine from ribbon and a button.

Next up is a card from a Gina K. Designs set, that Theresa Momber illustrated. What a beautiful set!

This card was so easy to make. I took a piece of GKD Pure Luxury CS, stamped the image and sentiment with Versamark Ink, and heat embossed both with white embossing powder. I then scored some lines with the Scor-Buddy, and Scor-Bug. Next I sponged on some distress inks. The card front was then matted on a dark brown and adhered to the care. Voila!

Thanks for stopping by, and for being patient with my lack of dropping by! Seems the last couple of weeks, this computer has been off more than on! lol....

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.

Food for thought: Ha ha ha....at my age, happy hour is a nap!

Nice - love the "precolored" turtle - he is just too stinkin cute and the ribbon flower is a very nice extra. Love the DPs too. The Gink K card is very nice too - one of those "easy-peasy" but very nice cards. Where do you live that there was a break in the weather??? Oh I forgot you live further south than Ridgetop(LOL).

Hope the weather is getting back to normal and your life is back on track. Read that a tree had hit your house over at OLga's. Are you OK? Must be if you are back to making these lovely cards.
