Lovely Lizards

Hi friends!
I have some fun cards to share with you today, using a new set of stamps from the Technique Junkies April 2024 release. These cards were all created using the 'Lovely Lizards' stamp set. There are two adorable lizards in this set!

For the first card, the lizard was stamped, then stamped again on a post it note. I fussy cut the lizard out of the post-it, and used it over top of the stamped lizard, creating a mask. Once the mask was in place, I used some different colors of ink, and blended the 'Crocodile' stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. The Hello sentiment came from an older, cherished set, 'Five Fab Phrases'. I peeled off the mask, and voila! The panel was adhered to a light brown card base, and is ready to mail!

For this card, I used a burnt orange colored cardstock.
I trimmed up the focal panel to the size I wanted, and cut it into 3 panels.
For the top panel, I stamped one of the Lizards, as well as the top portion of another new release stamp, 'Meadow Sprigs'.
The sentiment in the middle section, 'Simply Enjoy' is also a new stamp from the April release.
On the two outside edges of the center panel, I scored a few lines 1/8" apart, to add a bit of dimension to the panel. I then placed the bottom panel against the middle panel, and again, stamped the 'Meadow Sprigs' on the left side, and the 2nd lizard on the right side.

Last, I took a white card base, stamped both lizards, colored them with Copic markers, and used the 'Grunge Dots' stencil from A Colorful Life Designs over top of panel. The sentiment is from and older set that I use a lot, 'Celebrate Diversity'. I needed to have an Anniversary card on hand for a couple that has little Dragons, and thought that the lizards would be fun. I cut the frame and heart from some patterned paper, popped up the card, and it's ready to mail!

So happy to see you here today!

Here's to another year!

Hello, dear friends!
Today, I'm sharing a fun card that I made, using the new 'Beer Glassware' set from Technique Junkies. The sentiments I've used here are from another new set 'Another Year'. These stamps were so much fun to work with, and would make awesome cards for those beer drinkers in your lives!

Here's what I made:

This is an easel card. The Beer Glassware was all colored with Copic markers, and finished off with some Glossy Accents. The shine is fun, and the mugs look very vintage.

The 'Another Year' set, has 5 stamps:

Here's to Another Year
9of questionable life decisions)
(if we're still counting them...)
(of being awesome)
Happy Birthday

This set would be fun to have in your forever stash, right?

Remember, anything that is not in the new release can be purchased at 10% off, using my code: TJPatti10.

Praying for Peace

 Good morning!

I'm here today, sharing another beautiful stamp, 'Silhouette Stems

from the April 2024 Technique Junkies release.

This was a quick and easy card. The image, 'Silhouette Stems' and sentiment (from an older set, 'Peace and Comfort', were stamped with Versamark ink, then heat embossed with a gold embossing powder, on a pretty grape colored cardstock panel. The panel was inked around the edges in purple, and the panel was adhered to a grape colored card base.

Let's go to the Hop!

Hello friends!

It's time for the April Blog Hop at Technique Junkies!

There are some amazing new stamps - I think you're going to really like this release!

All of the new release stamps are 15% Off through April 25th. My 10% coupon (TJPatti10) will take 10% off anything else ordered.

Here is the April 2024 release! As always, you can get the entire release with the Gotta Have It All purchase! That's a savings of almost $32.00, and look at all the beautiful stamps you will receive!

Without further jibber-jabber, here's what I made using some of the April release items:

I thought I'd share the cards I made with the 'Cancer Sucks' set.
It seems we have all had cancer touch our lives. We are currently dealing with it here. It's fun to find a set with some sassy sentiments, and this fits the bill for sassy!

This card is actually a pale rosy pink, but my camera would not cooperate, sigh...
The background was stamped in pink using the new set 'Patriotic Corners', as was the sentiment from the 'Cancer Sucks' set. I die cut a frame, and matted the sentiment on a mauve cardstock. The sentiment was layered over a small piece of cheesecloth. I left the inside blank.

Next up, I used the beautiful new stamp, 'Wild Poppies'. It was stamped onto white cardstock, colored with Copic markers, and I stenciled around image with pink ink, and a stencil, Messy Diamond Grid, from A Colorful Life Designs. The sentiment is from the 'Cancer Sucks' set. I had a pretty envelope in my stash that matched well - bonus!!!

And, here is the sentiment from 'Cancer Sucks' that was used inside the poppy card:

Next up is this pretty card. First I did some ink smooshing to make the background.  'Wildflower Corner' was then stamped onto smooshed background, and a bit of coloring was done with a water brush, and some ink pads. The sentiment, from 'Cancer Sucks', was stamped in black ink.

Here is the fun inside sentiment, from the 'Cancer Sucks' stamp set.

I'll be back soon with more cards made with some of this great new release!

Now it's time to hop! Check out some of the fabulous creations that the Design Team has come up with, using these sale items!

Patti - You're here!

Thanks for stopping by!
I'm sorry I've been AWOL, lots (LOTS) going on here,
and not much time in my girl cave these days. It is SO good to be here briefly, this month!

Remember, you can save 10% using my TJPatti10 code, on anything besides the new release stamps. See you soon!!!

Hugs and smiles,

Hello out there!

Hello out there!

I haven't posted in over 2 months - oh dear!

Thought today would be a good day to drop in and share the cards that I made today at a workshop that my friend, Ruth had. She prepped some great cards for us, and we had a really good time, getting together to craft, eat, and enjoy some long needed fellowship.

Hope that you are all well, and enjoying life!

Here's what we made today:

February 5, 2024

Holy cow! Its' been a LONG time since I've been on the grid. We were gone for over a month, and totally busy since. Now, we are packing for a cruise that has been canceled and rescheduled twice due to Covid! If it's called off again, we won't re-book. That will for sure be smoke signals from God that we don't want to do this cruise!

I have a HUGE favor to ask of you!

Our daughter, Melissa, has been nominated to be a Military Spouse of the Year! She's been doing an amazing job of advocating for Military Spouses everywhere, and we are so very proud of her!

If you go to the link below, you can vote for her once each day through Feb. 9th. We'd so love it if you all voted when you can!  You'll be prompted to create an 'account' which will consist of you entering your name, email address, and creating your password. Easy peasy. Then, just go to the link again and vote!

Thanks in advance - I know your fingers are really busy making gorgeous creations, and appreciate you taking the time to support Melissa!

Hello friends!
I have a bunch of cards that I haven't shared, so I'm going to attempt to post a few now and then. Seems I rarely get time at the computer anymore - anyone else have that problem?  Anyway, here we go - a bit of this and a bit of that. Hope it brings a smile or two!

The 1st 4 pics are a card we made that was in one of Ruth Petsel's kits:
